The Tranquil Summer Isles
natural rock arch
All inclusive holiday, relax in a 4* self-catering property, unwind to home cooked local produce- breakfast, lunch and a 2 course dinner, wine included.  Paddle somewhere different and magical each day.  A holiday with adventure and relaxation rolled into one.

The magic of the Summer Isles will be a memorable trip; these islands are some of the most scenic in Scotland and are truly inspiring to journey through.  The Summer Isles are made up of 30 plus Islands and stacks, wild and rugged; all but one of these islands is uninhabited.
The elements will decide our daily journeys.  We will weave our way amongst the islands and skerries to colonies of seals and sea birds.  Along the way we will pass waters frequented by basking sharks, whales and dolphins.
Our explorations will lead us to Horse Island, with its hidden treasure, the white sands of Isle Ristol and the wildlife reserve of Eilean Mullagrach.  We will paddle below the sandstone cliffs of Reiff and circumnavigate ‘Tanera Beag’ my most favourite island, which has hidden surprises around every corner.  Here you will enjoy sandstone arches and the mighty Cathedral Cave.
The only inhabited island ‘Tanera Mor’ will not only be explored for its beauty but also for a cuppa in its tea shop and post office.  There are endless possibilities of exploration amongst the Summer Isles so we will always have lots of options.

Some days we may explore the other side of Rubha Coigeach, where the sandstone cliffs lead to Achnahaird beach one of the most stunning of beaches on the North-West coast.  Or other days we may head south passing below the seven summits of Ben Mor Coigach to explore the wildlife reserve of Isle Martin.
This trip has it all, each day you will look in wonder at the views of the Assynt and Coigach mountains and the distant allure of the Torridon and Skye hills, never forgetting the misty outline of the Isles of Lewis and Harris.
